New ED Drug Approved

There’s another drug to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).

The FDA has approved Stendra (avanafil:Vivus Inc.) for the treatment ED. It helps increase blood flow to the penis allowing an erection to occur. Stendra is not recommended for men who take nitrates for chest pain. Common side effects associated with the newly approved medication are headache, flushing, running nose and congestion. “Patients respond differently to medications,” Dr. Salim Hawatmeh said. “Now we have another ED treatment option to offer.”
