Frederick Walters, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Walters is a board-certified urologist and a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons.

A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Dr. Walters received his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine and served his residency at Tulane University Affiliated hospitals in New Orleans.

He conducted clinical trials for a private research group before joining South County Urological in 1993. From 2002 through 2005, Dr. Walters was Chief of Urology at St. Anthony’s Medical Center.

Dr. Walters has received additional post-graduate training in laser prostate therapy, pelvic floor reconstruction, laparoscopic renal surgery for kidney and ureteral cancers, cryosurgery ablation of the prostate and robotic prostatectomy. His clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), urinary incontinence and prostate cancer.

He has co-authored articles that appeared in The Journal of Urology. and is a member of the American Urological Association, the St. Louis. Metropolitan Medical Society and the American Lithotripsy Society.
